PEARL STREET JAM

Event Promotion & Production — Albany, NY — Benefiting Soldier On Charities

A large one-day event held in downtown Albany, NY, raising funds to assist in the building of a homeless and rehabilitation center for veterans, headed by Soldier On charities. Coordinated by Marcus Osmun, Pat Brisson, Guido Notaro, Tommy Griswold, and the staff at the Times Union Center — the street team handled the outdoor festival while TUC ran the main concert, starring The Charlie Daniels Band, The Marshall Tucker Band, and Bret Michaels. The street event was loaded with vendors, food merchants, a custom motorcycle competition, and instrument giveaways signed by the bands. Preliminary kick-start parties were arranged and promoted in both Albany and Syracuse to build momentum and accept donations from supporters who couldn't attend the main event. Event day included a 500+ motorcycle ride down the Thruway from Syracuse to Albany, coordinated by John Hodges and Billy Long. Combined with the Albany ride, over 1,200 motorcycles rumbled into downtown for this event, with a total attendance of over 8,000 people. Special thanks to Noel Baker, Neil Fry, Kathy Hayduk, JP Shaggy / Jason Krueger Band, Atlas Band, Dino Petrocelli, The Barrel Saloon, Castaways, and all of our volunteers that made this possible! NOTE: Photos from each event follow the flyer for it.
