This project included interior and exterior mural work, decor, and signage for a Southern-style restaurant with a New Orleans lean. Acrylic Resin paints were used as a medium, over stucco and repurposed barn wood. Surfaces around the Hostess Counter and kitchen entrance have a faux-finish to match the surrounding walls
In a collaboration with Black Rabbit Studio, this 22'x14' sign was designed by Cayetano Valenzuela with a grant from Syracuse University. Marcus assisted as a logistics advisor and painter along side Cayetano. Oil Based paints by Ronan were used on a brick surface.
It can be found at 420 E. Genesee St.
During the Food Hall renovation at the casino in late 2017, by Charles' Signs, Marcus was commissioned at the last moment to hand paint this sign / mural on the brick wall. It was executed within a 32 hour period and debuted for the Christmas reopening.
Seeking a "Syracuse Wall of Fame" for their VIP Lounge, Club 11 in Mattydale commissioned Marcus in late 2018 to paint local celebrities including comedian Bobcat Goldthwait, Grace Jones, Richard Gere, Tom Cruise, and Alec Baldwin.
